MN Hyperbaric Therapy | Indications & Services


Minnesota Hyperbaric currently offers Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy for all UHMS and Medicare accepted indications, as well as some off-label indications. Our patients must be able to crawl into a hyperbaric chamber, with minimal assistance from staff, and sit or lie for a period of at least 90 minutes. We only treat non-emergent, non-critical, ambulatory patients at this time due to our chamber limitations.

  • Acute Carbon Monoxide Poisoning
  • Acute Peripheral Arterial Insufficiency
  • Acute Traumatic Peripheral Ischemia
  • Cerebral Arterial Gas Embolism
  • Chronic Refractory Osteomyelitis
  • Compromised Skin Graft
  • Crush Injuries
  • Decompression Sickness
  • Diabetic Wounds of Lower Extremities
  • Gas Gangrene
  • Mandibular Osteoradionecrosis
  • Necrotizing Soft Tissue Infections
  • Soft Tissue Radionecrosis

The following conditions are not approved indications by UHMS or Medicare, but have clinical data supporting the efficacy of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy in their treatment. Minnesota Hyperbaric is willing to treat patients with the following conditions:

  • Autism
